ABOUT Y’RENA

 
 

Y. Rená Cooper is affectionately known by her family and friends as Rená. Seeing victims become victorious SURVIVORS and witnessing survivors thrive in their ‘after’ is the thing that drives her and gives her life.

A survivor of domestic violence, Y. Rená made it her life’s mission to make sure her voice was heard. She makes sure she cries loud and spares not for victims of domestic situations. As a certified coach, Y. Rená has become the influencer that many come to for assistance.

Y. Rená is the founder & CEO of 4 My Voice Matters, a NFP (501c3) organization that raises funds and brings awareness to domestic violence and suicide. Y. Rená started the 'Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Initiative' to assist relocating victims and their families IMMEDIATELY from violent situations. She also organizes events to raise monies for DV shelters and organizations throughout the country Y. Rená has started coaching and mentoring programs under her LLC, Y. Rená Unlimited.

Along with several awards and accolades given to her, Y. Rená has spoken at the University of Chicago, the Kimmy G. Foundation’s Beauty for Ashes, the Move Me Soul youth dance and mentoring program. She’s a member and speaker for Global Woman Club, HerStory Circle and diamond member of P.O.W.E.R. (Professional Organization of Women of Excellence) Y. Rená has also spoken in Jamaica as well as Mexico and scheduled to speak in Paris, France in 2022
